I dunno. Closest thing I had to a girlfriend/best friend (who I only knew online, fuck real life contact with people) decided I wasn't good enough for her a few months back, still haven't let go/recovered, still cry over her every night, school is too much for me, I'm afraid to go away to college but even more terrified of the shame I'd face for not going. Generally shit social skills, not a lot of friends, awkward with girls, all that usual shit.

I was that way. It's all about focus. Just focus on doing your school work and that's it. That's how I was. I was really awkward, but my grades were good because that's all I did. I would sit in my room for hours and do it. College is a financial burden, but you always get those debts paid off. Trust me. I take it you're a high school senior?

Ah, well don't stress about it too much. Just remember that you can get a solid education at a state school. That's what I'm doing. You don't have to go far from home. I know parents can bring a lot of pressure when it comes to college, but don't let that get to you. It's your life. Do for you, not for them. My parents were the same way.

That's exactly what I do, actually. I hardly talk to my roommate each day. I'll mutter one or two sentences, and that's only if I'm provoked.

I'm only three hours away from home, so seeing my family semi-regularly is plausible. It's not like going away to the other side of the country where visiting family would have to be like only during Christmas break.

Yeah, definitely. It's a personal understanding that you have to come to. No one can really help you come to that conclusion. You just have to remember that you're worth something to someone. I had very few friends in 9th and 10th grade because I'd get bullied all the time. I would avoid contact with all people, but eventually I just started putting myself out there and everything started to get better. It's tough to do, but knowing you have at least one friend is much better than being alone.

I hope Gen 6 adds a ton of Ghost-types and very few Water-types.
I also hope Fire-type gets a buff in some way. Maybe giving Drought/Sunny Day more functionality, maybe some stronger weather abusers.
