The fact of the matter is, if Fairy type was a type that was around when Pokemon started, if it was a gen one type, you guys would be fucking fine with it.

I love that the children who think Fairy Type is another way of saying Sissy Type feel so threatened as if it would introduce pokemon any gayer than would be created anyway. Burly, edgy or 'cool' monsters are like 20% of the pokedex at the very most.

Actually, op, I'm still a bit butthurt over the real meaning of Dark. Dark sounds cool (and goes with classic rpg thing dark-light). When many years later I discovered it's evil in the orginal, not gonna lie, I facepalmed hard. So no, being from an old gen doesn't have anything to do with it.

Dunno if Fairy is real or not, but it makes sense in the Japanse context, so I'll accept whatever I like it or not.

I don't see how anyone can look at fairy type and call it "sissy" or "girly" considering the game that its in.

I think people need to step back and look at the fact that they are playing Pokemon and soak in the knowledge of what exactly that means.
