Braviary has 123 attack, sheer force, and can learn rock slide. Mandibuzz has some bulk, but couldn't stand up to that punishment for long. Mandibuzz might be able to best it with roost, and toxic stalling though.

Mandibuzz can stall out Braviary with Toxic and Roost.

If Braviary goes with Sheer Force, Rock Slide loses it's flinch rate, so no flinch hax. If he goes with Defiant, then there's no boost, but can flinch it.

I'm siding with Mandibuzz on this debate.

Stalling would take too much time. Braviary could just spam Bulk Up or Hone Claws, then OHKO Mandibuzz with a LO SF Rock Slide. Braviary can also rest-talk to do away with poison.

Mandibuzz is a wall while Braviary is a wallbreaker or boosting sweeper. Stupid to compare them directly.

That being said the standard banded Braviary can win in a straight up fight with Mandibuzz even if Mandibuzz is max HP/max Def, and specially defensive Mandibuzzes are way more common.
