The entire fucking Anime is a complete waste of resources. They recycle stories, use the same battle animations over and over again, the "storyline" barely makes any sense and the entire show is inconsistent as fuck.

This show could have been awesome, but it really is the reason why we have to explain ourselves to people for liking pokemon, as it makes them believe it's for kids only.

It doesn't bother me, the anime progresses the way it wants to.
So does the games.
I'm happy with the way the Pokémon franchise is going.

They should do a parallel series, because we know the current one will never end.

I'd like to see new seasons in a universe where Ash doesn't exist, that is more like in the games and has less episodes, to maintain good quality.

Two different series that cather to different audiences. I'm sure they could gain new fans, recover some genwunners and strengthen the franchise.
