Neither of the games are better than the main series anyway. The only thing they had going for them was the 3D. And now we have that in the main series.

The story was no better/worse/more complicated or in depth than the main series games.

I loved playing them at the time though. Never played Stadiums, so it was my first 3D Pokémon game. I caught Ho-oh in Colloseum and 100%ed XD, too

Pokémon Colosseum and XD get ported to 3DS
You are able to:
- Trade Pokémon from/to X and Y
- Encounter Shadow Pokémon in X and Y (Not be able to use them online because over powered)
- Have a hot ginger chick follow you around
- Snag Team Cheesers Pokémon in the name of kindness.
- Get a God tier looking bike like the one Wes has
- Stuff other anons suggest

So, I'm playing XD for the first time and I just made it into citadark isle. At this point all the trainers are around level 35 or so, but the final boss has pokemon at level 50. My pokemon are all around level 38, so my question is should I grind at my battle and realgam tower or just not bother?

You could probably take the final boss down pretty easily, but his team has 6 Shadow Pokemon - not including Lugia so defeating him the normal way shouldn't be your interest. I'd level up a bit so your Pokemon can take some hits.

Not really, no. Only in G/S/C/HG/SS because they thought it was a nice idea to have the trainers jump from the 15s to the 25s between two gyms.

Empty their gauge (lots of ways - sending it out, calling it out of Hyper/Reverse Mode, massages, etc. Pretty much anything that increases Friendship will decrease the gauge), then take them to the Relic Stone in Agate Village.
