>>12130737Ice type attacks are very good. Nobody denies that. A pokemon being Ice type though is a bad thing. Not because most Ice type pokemon are bad, but because the typing itself brings more downsides than upsides.
Ice is just an absolutely horrible typing for a pokemon to have. It only resists itself, and has a lot of very important weaknesses. Not worth getting Ice STAB when you could instead just have any other water type that knows Icebeam.
