/vp/ anyone a electric type fan? I don't know why, but I love electric type pokemon. They seem so, ugh, I can't describe it but there is probably a word for it, anyway, what's your opinion?

I don't really have much to say about other Electric types - I mean, I like most of them, but not as my favourite type - but Galvantula's been my bro since the day he was announced. He's not only absolutely adorable, but he's bailed me out more times I can count in both Black, and White 2. He also makes one hell of a Thief as well, and helped me hunt down more items and berries than I can count.

I've always thought electric types were a bit under-rated seeing as they have only one weakness, but then again I don't play competitively.

I was so very excited when I heard about galvantula. Wanted a good spider-like pokemon since the disappointment that was ariados. Love this thing, dude. Absolutely love it. He has earned a spot on my permanent bro-list for sure.

That and Electric types don't really resist much. Also, Rotom seems to make up half of the 2-type combos, so every pure electric mon is basically trying to fill the same niche.

Electric, like Steel, are great types to splash onto another.

They're a bit limited as a single type, but when mixed, make for really amazing Pokemon.

Strong electric attacks have always been a part of the meta, and still continue to be strong, even if the users haven't quite been able to keep up.

Looking forward to the new XY Pokemon.
