The game wasn't great, but it had the best graphics, music and story of any pokemon game

Yes, I've played Explorers of Sky. The plot was merely OK when compared to games outside of the pokemon franchise due to it's weak cast of characters. Too bad they're golden compared to the main series characters

You'd be right but the slow text speed and parroty dialogue brought it down. I remember the scene between the Scorching Desert and the next one being almost half an hour long, possibly even longer.

This. The game had no way to skip dialogue which was annoying as fuck. Also the post-game is notably bad due to low pokemon selection. Are all the challenging dungeons DLC or something?

Even with the special episodes (which fleshed out Bidoof and Wigglytuff well, alongside Dusknoir and Grovyle), it doesn't change the fact that the guild did very little in spite of the large amount of time we spent with them.
