>>12146801yes I agree modern battle mechanics are far more refined, and yes, I agree that there are certainly a few noticeable glitches, but things like "roar doesnt do anything" is all but a moot point for playing through the game, as there is no point in the game where the enemy might try and buff up his attack with swords dance and sweep you! The game is already easy enough for any 8 year old to roll with his overleveled starter and ALL pokemon games have been like that.
Even AFTER that fact, some of the points labeled as problems amidst blatant bugs and errors are things that I actually think MAKE SENSE. Like countering a 1HKO move. How is that illogical when you can counter any other move? It makes perfect sense. Also hyper beam not recharging on a kill makes hyper beam actually a viable move, but still with a big risk of having to be stuck charging if the opponent switches into a rock or ghost type.
