Got Soul Silver recently, but I haven't gotten very far yet. Just beat the first gym.

Have yet to touch Gen V at all.

gen 1 and the remakes are the only ones with a decent replay value

After doing an LP of Red I really don't want to touch Gen I again. I just got way too bored of it too soon in the game.

Might emulate Fire Red though for the Sevii Islands.

Gen V is a good re-entry point to the series, OP. BW are strong on the story but weak on the post-game, BW2 are somewhat weaker on story but have so much post-game content.
