I need help choosing my favorite pokemon, anyone have any tips?

I don't know why, but whenever people ask what mine is, I always say Tauros. I really have no clue why, but I have always seen him as my favorite since I was a kid.

I would automatically say Tauros, because I see him as my favorite of favorites.

But I also like Fearow, I don't know why again. I have just recently started like him.

That said, my favorite pokemon is Ralts and its evolutionary line, and before that it was Alakazam

I fear that "suggest me my favourite" might not be the best - or most reliable - way of picking your true bro. After all, you are sentencing yourself to be dependant on non-deterministic choices of others. While you might find something appreciable among the pokemon which are suggested, you will eventually find yourself wondering about what would have been your bro had the thread went in an entirely different direction.

Instead, try to gradually cover the pokedex, taking some time whenever you find something potentially fave-worthy. Start with obvious, notorious ones that will get you down to searching. That way you are pretty much guaranteed to find the one you would have liked sooner or later.

Though this method is not without regrets- -I found my fave pokemon waaaay too soon and I sometimes wonder: "how it would have all went had I failed to encounter him that early? Would he end up being my bro eventually? Or would I fail to consider him being one at all?". Welp.

I sort of categorize them into tiers. Porygon-Z or any of the Porygons are my immediate response to most favorite Pokemon, but he along with Druddigon, Lanturn, Steelix and Kangaskhan tend to be my tier 1 choices. Pokemon like Flygon, Scyther, Probopass, Scolipede and Hitmonlee are in tier 2, while other cool-Pokemon-I-like-but-not-as-much-as-the-others like Metagross, Swampert and Aerodactyl are tier 3.
