Which are you more excited for, the Mewtwo vs Genesect movie or the damn short coming with it so we can know Sylveon's type?

Also what do you think/hope will get shown in Corocoro in May?

As for CoroCoro, the way GF has been drip-feeding us, I bet it will contain a silhouette with no type, number, name or typing

As for next months corocoro, I expect nothing or just more info on the pokemon we already know. I would love if they showed the map of the region, but I doubt it.

According to all previous development periods, May is when the action starts to begin proper, and it's for the same reasons we were delayed this time. The beginning of the year has a spinoff that eats up space until it releases. With the space free for X/Y now, you can bet we will see more things from now on. They will still advertise the movie, that I won't deny, but they've never been known to cause critical space issues. If anything, the game becomes the greater priority, probably because they CAN'T reveal too much about the movie without spoilers. When junk was kept secret about pokes from the movies before, it was June that their secrets were revealed. (This was true for Shaymin and Keldeo) We already have our form this time, though, but it seems they wanted Sylveon to be in the dark longer. Sadly, this means what we WANT to know probably won't be told. The info on the signature legends depended on the uniqueness of the development period, so that could occur at any point in time.

Sylveon's type is one of the selling point for the movie, so I don't think we will have Sylveon's type before July, maybe the legendary but not Sylveon.

Actually, the information seems to point towards Genesect and Mewtwo being the distros, since I can totally see having a Mewtwo with the fateful encounter tag being what triggers it's new form in X/Y. (although there are already Mewtwo distros that have this) They could distro an Eevee, although the Japanese already have tons of them with the fateful encounter tag. We get screwed on such things, though, so it would pretty much only be to our benefit. I can't see them not giving out the shiny Genesect, though, so if given the choice between Mewtwo or Eevee, I'd pick Mewtwo.

We won't get any new info on XY of any note until the shitty movie has been released. That and Rumble U is what they're hyping up in Japan right now and it'll only be after then they'll move on to XY.

I expect, if Sylveon's type is shown in the short, then it'll be in the issue of corocoro that comes out just before the film if anything. However there is still the possibility it won't battle at all in the short and therefore it's type won't even be revealed in the short!

Both a new form and a specific event? They've never done both of those in the same game, not unless the form was already given. (Spiky Eared Pichu) There's no way they can provide the new form of Mewtwo now, so it will have to be used to unlock that. They could break precedence, but I don't see why they would. A new evo for Eevee is not that important, and making an evo only available to those that got the distro seems unfair. Tthe legends are supposed to be rare, but not allowing you to have an evo just because you missed an event is, as you put it, Jew. Extra point: since it is being featued in the development, they are counting on people wanting to get it. In order for everyone to have it, they cannot let it be because of a condition that only so many people will meet. No, EVERYONE has to be allowed to have it. The evo will not happen because of a distro tag.

Instead of redesigning Kris, the female player character of Pokémon Crystal, a new female character was created.

According to the scan, the first Generation V games will be set in the region known as Isshu, which is quite a distance away from all previous regions.
The new playable characters are also presented.

Based on that, PC art and the region are a given.

Then again, if XY is coming out in late October Trollfreak could easily prolong the dry spell until June.

That said, the hype train is losing steam fast and these endless type debates are painful, so I really hope we get something substantial soon.
