Can the Pokemon Yellow cartridge hold a save file on a CR2025 battery? Or must I have a CR1616?
I just checked google and the answers I found weren't very helpful.

I was under the assumption that game boy games all used CR2025 batteries. That's what I took out of my Silver game the other day, which I replaced just fine with a CR1616.

Are you pulling my leg? Anywho, it's fine replacing a battery with a smaller sized one, but I bet doing it the other way round would be awkward.
