It appears when you use the magnagate function, it's a really high level meaning that your attacks won't do any damage and it won't wake up. If you have Axew you can use Dragon Rage to wake it up and it will kill you

I'd heard somewhere that the demo doesn't give you the gender option while the real game does, but later I heard it wasn't in the game at all so I wasn't sure
