That's a personal problem, really. The score in IV was actually quite good. Cave of Being, Canalave, Eterna Forest, Mt Coronet, Game Corner, Galactic HQ, Cynthia Piano and Battle Theme, etc...

I liked gen 4's music, but it does seem like the game with the least memorable music. I wouldn't say that's a knock against its quality though, it felt like how video game music nowadays is getting less and less memorable because they are trying to sound like movie soundtracks instead of focusing on unique and memorable melodies, gen 4 seemed like that the most.
