But I'm ALSO part of those who like to just enjoy the game, the plot, the characters, etc. I like to create strategies, I like to breed, but I play for fun, with friends. I'm not obsessed with numbers like people from WFG who thinks that a 29 IV is garbage.
I think that there's no wrong way to enjoy the game, excluding when it isn't being fun.
You like to crunch numbers and are happy this way? Great! You just complete the main plot, have a lot of fun and then never touches the game again? Great!
I have a friend who doesn't care for nothing more than collecting shinies. He doesn't battle or IV breed, he just hunt for shinies to have them in his box. I don't understand, cause I like to battle, but if he is having fun, then I think that's great.
But you know, a good part of the competitive players doesn't seem to be having fun. They are all paranoid with numbers and rules and get offended by the existence of people that doesn't play the same way that they do.
It's weird, don't you think? The game must to be fun. That's all.
