Once in a while I tend to look up my cherished group of top fave pokemon amongst entire wall of literally hundreds of others. It is then when I ask myself:
- - - - - Are these REALLY the choices I would have picked under even slightly different circumstances? How stable and deterministic were the drives which culminated in me picking a select one pokemon over the others? How should I feel about my 'bros' should my selection process come off as ephemeral, depending on a course of actions that could only occur at one moment?

Share your stories [and possibly thoughts] about how you have found those faves of yours. Do you feel that your selection would be vastly different should your path across the pokemon franchise had been altered somewhat?
