RSE ended with not much to work with. BW ended with Ghetsis escaping (IIRC) and revealing his true intentions. RSE ended with both teams disbanding and the legendaries going back to sleep/being captured.

I kinda do hope they remake it to be honest.I mean I hated R/S/e but when I play R/S/E it feels like I'm playing a beta or something. Like they could have done so much more but they didn't. I want a remake so they can fix their mistakes, I suppose.

For them to continue like Rocket did, it would require some of the grunts/admins to have been in it for the chaos that would ensue from releasing Kyogre/Groudon.

...Which could work, maybe show that some of the more chaotically retarded ideas (blow the volcano with rocket fuel!) came from said admins... of course, they'd hardly be able to hide their actions behind well-intentioned extremism, and "guy just wants to fuck shit up" doesn't feel like it'd be too compelling in a Pokémon setting, but hey.

I think sequels would work better myself. R/S/E kind of reset the timeline, so it would be kind of weird to be replaying the game with the same characters with a reset timeline again. Plus I'd rather have new content than the same shit but just updated.
