Why are /vp/oreons opposed to the idea of 3d models in Gen VI? Seriously, what kind of backwoods retard wouldn't be for updated graphics?

Yeah, the models don't look bad.

Only reason I would be opposed to them is if they drag out and make the battles longer. Like holy shit, the colloseum/stadium/etc games are unplayable to me because of how long a single turn takes, but hopefully gamefreak will handle that well

Though I do understand why the select few might feel indifferent.
I mean, so far every single 3D model for Gallade looks completely and utterly hideous - what reason I have to believe that it will be improved now?

Based on the videos, the attacks seem to take about as much time as they do in the sprite based games.
I guess we have to wait to see a full back-and-forth turn in a battle before judgment is passed, though.
