Golurk has good stats, but the best physical ghost type move he has is shadow punch. Which is only 60 power.

Yes.
Volcarona and Hydrogen have better STAB moves. Even though neither are physical attackers, wasting one move on them is fine. They're both great Pokemon, compared to Golurk

I would NEVER waste a moveslot on either of those pokemon. Especially with a fucking HM. At least Golurk knowing Fly is awesome, and fun for the imagination.

Nigga this is in game, who gives a fuck? I'd have Golurk simply because he's boss. Also Fly on Volcarona is a terrible idea even in game, because it's a physical attack, and it's physical attack is pathetic. Hydreigon is also a special attacker, though his physical attack isn't so bad, so it isn't a terrible idea.
