Yes but in the English, Danish, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish versions she has a noticeable French accent.

Yes, I wouldn't mind them finding a way to make them a little more similiar to the anime style Pokémon contests, like combining the contest points with an actual battle somehow.

Fantina's plot is that she's foreign. In japanese versions, she speaks english to show this trait. But in english versions this wouldn't make sense, so the only way to show that's she's foreign was giving her a new mother language, and they choosed french. That's all.

I'm not saying you're WRONG. You can be right. But at the moment, we just don't know yet. That tower can be based on Eiffel, yes, but also can be Tokyo's.
I'll wait for official information instead of assuming things.

While the tower in the trailer has some similarity to the Eiffel Tower (well, they're both kinda shaped like triangles if you squint, but that's pretty much it) , there's also a lot of differences. To say that the region will certainly be based on France just because there is a tower is to jump to conclusions.
