Guys, can- can we talk about Gastrodon for a second?

How many eyes does this fucker have?

He's got those two black-ringed "eyes", on either side of his head, those are the two I immediately recognize as eyes.

But then he's got this similar shape in the middle of his forehead. It's almost exactly the same. Is that another eye? Or is it a needless marking that just looks exactly like one of it's eyes?

If it is, why? That has nothing to do with sea slugs.

But here's the thing. When he falls asleep in Pokemon B/W and B2/W2, none of those eyes close. They all stay open. Are any of them eyes? Or is Gastrodon blind?

Or, are those antenna that poke out of its head somehow eyes? Does it see with those?

Guys I don't know what's happening and I'm scared.
