Hilbert? ugh, it's almost a tie between him, Red and Lucas for most anonymous character, he is only saved because of the hair which is unusual and not your average shonen with ahoge and shits but god damn do those outfit colors put me asleep
not that I mind Red or ahoges, Red has been badassified without altering its looks in GSC/HGSS, and Gold has pretty cool colors and not a bad design, also I understand that "being anonymous" is ok for player character so that there's immersion for those fagets who are into that, but still
I guess Brendan and May are the best ones at balancing not looking completely dull and still looking somewhat "default", without going neither full suburban Hilda nor default human being Lucas
