i've been pokemon for years now , completed everyone and completed pokedex on 2 .
i have become very bored of pokemon since i can complete it fully with no sweat , so i have decided to try competitive play . but no idea where to start , ive got some knowledge on EV'S and natures , but thats really it . so i was hoping you guys can help me with this .
the question i would like answered are :

where do i look for people to play?
what are IV's?
what to look out for?
