>rock, paper, scissors combatI don't understand how you can think this. It has probably one of the most intricate systems implemented in a Turn-Based RPG, if not the most. Tons of Pokemon, tons of strategies, and that's just the main games. The spin-offs are usually pretty great, there's always a collectors' item every now and then, the TCG is similar but different from the normal games(in that you can play casually or play "hardcore"), etc. It's also got okay online and is always fun if you have friends to play with.
