I cosplayed Taiki at MCM expo in 2010, I'll be repeating the cosplay again this month. I'll put a pic up soon if I can.
But first, a related story of heartbreak.

So it's MCM Expo 2010 (basically London's comicon) and my first convention, as well as cosplay. I had people left and right recognising my outfit which really surprised me seeing as the series is currently Japan exclusive and my cosplay was of Taiki's second outfit, which was almost new.
Me and my friend I was with decide to sit down and have a little lunch, so we do, then I get a text from my friend saying she's just around the corner, so we go and see her. I sit down and suddenly I feel something odd. I didn't sit on anything. I pat the side of my shorts.
My Xros Loader.
I had an imported Xros Loader toy from Japan with freaking case, it was a clip on so I figured it must have just fell off my shorts (the one time I wasnt holding onto it for safety)
So I look all over the con hall, retracing my steps and such, but I never think to go back to that cafe I first sat down in.
It was only a year later I realise where it was.
So much heartache on that day, I'm still hardly over it. I had so much progress on that toy.

It's obviously faster in the show so the terrible animation was overlooked for the very fast attack. Hell, I know OmegaShoutmon looked off model at some frames in this one but the whole thing is so cool.

It's true that Xros Hunters was far from the best until the last few episodes, but I still enjoyed it. Death Generals was the best arc though, no argument.

We probably won't get any XY stuff until after the movie's out as the hype train is focused mainly on that for now. Corocoro will just be a load of big pictures of pokemon in the movie with gigantic text shouting things at you that you already know. If you're lucky there may be a page revealing Ash's latest new best friend who you'll never hear from again outside of the film and maybe a page showing the next set of Rumble U figures.

Sylveon's type probably won't be revealed until after the movie (it probably won't be shown what type it is in the movie either as it is a love interest for meowth in the short so probably won't have to fight anything, just run away from him in a Pepe Le Pew stylee). If it is a new type then they'd almost certainly wait until after the movie to reveal that because it is such a big deal.

One possibility however is that another eeveelution might get revealed as they usually come in pairs and it would make sense to show this in the short as well as Sylveon.

You've seen what May brought for the other developments, so I will now show you what happened in June. The movies always release in July, so this is still before for me. On second though, why not, I'll include July just so you people will stop being idiots.

June 2006- Professor, the Poketch, the region (Sinnoh)
July 2006- Boxart, full detail on the legends, more pokes

June 2010- more pokes, full detail on legends, professor
July 2010- the rivals, N, triple battles, version differences, more pokemon, C Gear, Global Link/Dream World

Digimon Fusion is the official US name, which is weird since Malaysia, Singapore, France, etc. got Xros Wars. I honestly blame Saban.

I love Xros Wars because you will never have Digimon-human interaction like this in the older series.

If I were to tell you what happened in January-April of both of those developments, it would start to make sense. I'll make the long story short. DP: January was nothing but an announcement of February's reveal, and April was empty. Everything else had info, but pretty much only pokes and stuff. BW: January was nothing. (announcement of new game made outside Coro Coro). March is bogged by Ranger 3, and in all that time, we were pretty much only shown Zorua and Zoroark, even in the first screens.
