In all honesty, I don't know how they would reveal the type unless they made Sylveon talk. But I don't recall Pokemon ever talking in the Pikachu shorts, maybe Meowth would reveal it I dunno.

But that's exactly what will happen. Why would they ruin the surprise and release it before anyone's seen the short? Its release is right before CoroCoro is out too so it lines up well.
