Anyone else bothered by how the Explorers of Sky intro is full of spoilers?

I mean, if you already played Time/Darkness is nice to see all those memories again and the music is awesome, but new players will get moments like the Secret Waterfall ruined.

Also I hated the whole Shaymin Mission, the "plot" was unnecessarily complicated and the actual mission was a joke, they holded your hand all the way throught.

And like most adittions in Sky everything felt kid-stupid, it felt like watching the anime with all that gratuitous light shows and exposition.

I really have no idea what you're talking about regarding Sky Peak. Just like genuinely no idea how you could feel that it was "complicated". Regarding how they "holded your hand", I personally thought that the rest points were a nice break from just 50 plain floors, and the frequent stops made perfect sense since that was what the whole Shaymin village worked with.

And if you thought the special episodes, the fifth one in particular, were stupid then just fuck you.

The special episodes were the best things about Explorers. Gave 4 characters some proper fleshing out, addressing my biggest complaint about the story - poorly fleshed out characters. Besides, they offered nice breaks from playing as 'you'

Not everything was like that, and I didn't say it was bad just a bit too kiddy compared to the stuff from Time/Darkness.

And Sky Peak wasn't complicated, it just that the ending didn't make up for the boring mission and story.

You know how at first it looks like humans have disappeared from the PMD2 world but then there's one from the furure?

Just a single one, they never said there were others, and if humans are almost a myth in the present they should be gone in such a terrible future...

So, what if the player character didn't come only from the future but also from the past?

They were a human somehow brought to the future, if everything went right they would save the future and return to the past, but then the story happened...

Does anyone agree that Treecko is pretty OP in red/blue rescue team? With agility to go twice in every turn, drain moves to heal yourself, and I've never gone through a game without finding a bullet seed TM.

Anything that can learn a move that hits multiple times in any PMD is OP as fuck

for some reason they decided to make each one hit as hard as an individual attacks so you're basically guaranteed to oneshot anything not a boss (and bosses need 2 attacks instead)

Note, it is VERY story/dialogue heavy. Depends on the person whether it's a good or a bad thing, but it is far and away the best story that the franchise has ever told as in the only one that#s actually good

The soundtrack and graphics are excellent, but the gameplay can be repetitive, but it's more challenging than the main series (though the easiest in the spinoff series)

Well, his physical form did get destroyed. For normal people that you be murder. Just he created another which most people can't which I why I'd consider it murder. We're never told for certain Kyurem knew Hydriegon was the voice of life; for all we know he just up and murdered some guy because "guilty by association".
