Hey GameFreak! Remember me? I have this awesome movepool, and an absolutely wonderful typing! I know I'm not the best, but I think I could be better! My stats are a bit low... so if it isn't too much to ask, could I get an evolution in this coming generation? I would absolutely love it if I did!

How about GameFreak just revamps all base stats for every pokemon that needs revamping (mostly final evolutions or pokemon with no evolutions) for Gen VI and have imported pokemon automatically readjust for them

Why does gamefreak make pokemon that are completely worthless? I'm not saying that every pokemon needs to be perfectly balanced, but they should at least attempt to make every fully-evolved pokemon suitable for use other than for "beat the game with shitty pokemon" challenges.

and that'd actually fuck up hidden power, trick room, etc. It'd definitely be worth it to completely make the whole "is hacking in pokemon with legal stats okay?" question irrelevant.

I'd be okay with just having a menu that tells me the values instead of needing to piece together information from obtuse descriptions and calculators
