What if GF decides to make a restart of the pokemon franchise after gen 6,
screwing the old pokemon, pokeworld, pokecharacters: everything is new with a new and more mature audience and new mechanics but the same philosophy?

I'd like a more mature pokemon game. Nothing grimdark or "2SPOOKY MURDER," but just a little more than the usual "Hey we're going to wreck the earth with this dragon/god/blue whale thing lel." But I understand that it's targeted towards kids. I'd probably still play a new pokemon "series" even if they fucked the compatibility, but the series would definitely tank if they did that.

They already did that. It was called Black & White. Then when the game ended all previous generation Pokémon became available to access.

The extreme example you're thinking of would be a marketing nightmare. The series already has its mature audience, what it needs to to appeal to the younger audience as new generations join it.
