If you had White, I suggest Black 2. I started with White as well and while I felt that I'd be missing a lot from not getting the direct sequel, after playing White 2, there isn't much of a difference other than story elements that are fairly minor, characters saying certain things here and there about the other version, and the few Pokemon that are version exclusive. If it's your first time playing BW2, either way you're going to enjoy it over BW1, but I played Black 2 before White 2.
