when cast (or automatically cast by those with the ability version equivalent to drizzle/drought) it puts an end to whatever weather effect is currently happening and prevents any new weather effects from starting.

Basically works like cloud nine or airlock, except that pokemon doesn't have to stay out. I think it'd help with the overuse of weather bullshit.

Kinda on topic, I want a grass weather effect - falling leaves.

Makes grass moves 100% hit, +25% damage. If a fire type move is used, +50% damage, hits every pokemon in the fight, removes the weather effect.

I imagine a grass "weather" more like a field effect where the battlefield is covered with some kind of carnivorous grass who damages a little everything not grass, poison, steel or flying (levitate included) every turn.

If you wanted more damaging weather effects, sure. Me, I'd like to see more weather effects that are marginal. And instead of using a move that does nothing but weather, you could have moves create effects as a secondary effect.

Ie leaf storm starts a falling leaf effect. Or water spout starts rain.
