Look, I get the whole "Chan" = Jackie Chan and "Lee" = Bruce Lee thing, I do... But for me, I was a freshman in Jr. High playing Gen 1 and they hadn't introduced genders yet. Back then, Hitmonchan was totally the feminine counterpart to Hitmonlee- there's no other way about it! I mean, just LOOK at it! The arms, the legs, the torso, even the face is undeniably female! WTF?? As for the name, I didn't even think of Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan, I thought it was the Japanese suffix "-chan," which is primarily used for women.

Anyways, I'm sure this topic has already been discussed a long time ago, but my mind is pretty damn blown... WTF?
