a big problem with a lot of fake pokemon is they make way too blobby designs sometimes. official designs never have structurally undefined areas like that insect's back. Usually blobby-ness is what gives it away immediately for me, even if it's just the small details. If you're gonna make fakes cut that shit out

I guess one good thing about the new models and stuff is that people have to put a lot of effort into making a 3D image look convincing. Before it was easy to make a sprite and add a little blurr
