You need an identifiable landmark though. It needs to be an instantly recognizable city. As I pointed out you've got christ the redeemer but it becomes sacrilegious the moment you replace it with an alakazam. X and Y and Black and White are built around two obvious extremely famous cities.

Next one is more likely to be in London or something.

Considering we've only just gotten round to new york and the eiffel tower I think people waiting for an obelisk and the sugar loaf are going to be waiting a very long time. There's a tonne of landmarks far more famous. Hell they could do Australia, you'd just need a Sydney opera house and Ayers rock. It'd be instantly recognizable and they'd have a fuck load of crazy animals to base stuff on.

Yeah that's true but it would give them an excuse to do koalas, cassowary and the like. Just seems there are so many places to choose from and a lot of them are more recognizable in the west and Japan than places in south america.
