'sup /vp/

I need some advice. I'm finishing up my sinnoh pokedex for import to gen V and but I have a few event legendaries left on the list. I'd like to get these legit (I understand that the data for a pokemon is different if game generated vs. AR'd?)

I have a few q's:
Will activating ingame events via AR give me legit event pokes when I catch them?

I have a fatass original DS (1st gen). Which AR should I use?
