they're finally going back to more realistic traditional looking pokemon.. ever since fucking G/S/E

my body hasnt been this ready for a game in 2 years

Also it included many derps, metallic objects and residual pokémon, it could have been a legit 1st gen. gen 6 looks like a 2nd gen.

Seriously, D/P were cool looking when they were first revealed but something wasn't right. If Platinum was released as the only Sinnoh games I'd be content. I got the hype when HG/SS were revealed only because my love for Johto. The reveal of B/W a year or so later just felt off. I have no strong feeling one way or another towards Unova, it's leaders or it's pokemon (save for Scrafty, he's fucking rad). X/Y just look grand, I genuinely want to use every pokemon revealed thus far on my in-game team, soemthing that has never occured before. I'm with you OP. X/Y are the games that /vp/ deserves.

I wish they would start making the main legendaries less overdesigned (i hate using that buzzword, but it applies here) Ever since R/S we've been getting legendaries with increasingly complex designs full of zigzag streaking line patterns and sharp angles and spikes and such. The "secondary" legendaries (ie, trios, etc) haven't suffered this problem, but the main ones from groudon to palkia to kyurem have.

fighting cheren in black 2 was fucking horrible for this reason unless you grinded decently. I just couldn't kill his pokes before they bulked up enough to reck shit and actually got wiped out fighting him on my first run.

He's the only gym leader i ever had trouble with simply because of such a shitty start.
