It's very redundant, since it takes a lot of time to cover a small patch of grass, which is most likely why it got removed.

Yeah, well, I logged 245 hours on Soul Silver.

Not counting my original silver, which has a level 100 Feraligatr and Lugia, or my gold cartridge which got as far as red.

I'm still mad that they got rid of day/night cycles, visiting previous regions, pokemon animations, and not allowing all pokemon to be captured in R/S.

Also the fact that they consistently take out the Battle Frontier (or equivalent) just to reintroduce it in the 3rd rehash game pisses me off as well

Fair enough, but I just really hated how there was nowhere else to go (besides the sky pillar) after beating the E4 in R/S.
