The first I caught and kept was a Stunfisk on my White version. Badass as fuck.

Audino, caught only yesterday. I've just started to play White 2 (I know, I am a slowpoke) and about 2 hours into the game one popped out.

I have terrible luck with shinies. The first shiny I saw was a Geodude and it killed itself. It wanted to die rather than being my Pokemon. Audino is going to be my mascot Pokemon for the rest of the game now.

Sudowoodo (2007) in pearl. Still have it. Named Red Stone (WOW IMAGINATIVE
Zubat (2010) in platinum. Female called Edward because LULZ LET'S HATE TWILITE
Jigglypuff (2013) in White 2 two weeks ago. Called Ballad.
Woobat (2013) in White 2 three days ago. Called Jade.

And I don't have the shiny charm whatsoever.

As a bonus point, I was once playing FireRed on an emulator and I ran into a Chansey on my first encounter in Safari Zone. I caught it one ball. It had lucky egg.
At least Gen V gave easy access to lucky egg.

Emerald: Wurmple (evolved into Dustox) and an Unown from a Leaf Green cartridge I bought second hand, but sold since it was in Italian.
Platinum and SoulSilver: A bunch I got randomly off wi-fi - Venusaur, Clefairy, Snorunt, Darkrai, and I think 1 or 2 more I can't remember right now. Also, red Gyarados again, obviously.

I have terrible luck with shineys. First one was a Zigzagoon in a Sapphire copy. I trained the crap out of it, evolved him to Linoone. He was the most bad ass Linoone around. He was my bro. Then, when I transferred it to my diamond it lost its shininess for some reason and I bawled like a little bitch. I still have him, but its not the same. I later got a shiny Sentret to, but it was nothing compered to that Linoone.

My first shiny pokemon was a shiny geodude in my leafgreen. I evolved it into a Golem later on. Still have it on lvl 88.

Golem is still one of my favorite Rock type pokemon.

Shiny Venonat in Safari Zone in FireRed. It ran away.
Shiny Skuntank in Diamond. Caught it.
Shiny Tranquill in White. Caught it, used it for flying for kicks, but hated Unfezant so I restarted the game and didn't bother keeping it.
And most recently a shiny Aron in a Ruby nuzlocke. Definitely my favorite overall.

Pretty good luck overall, at least one every gen.

Ratata was my first, that wasn't Gyarados. I've found 8-10 more shinies since then, guess I'm pretty lucky. With all the hax against me in battling, I guess it evens out.

Shiny Tentacool on Pokémon Emerald when I was hunting for that Latios. I attempted to clone it but I lost it and the other shiny Tentacools I cloned. Never cloned again.

Shiny Jigglypuff in the FUCKING SAFARI ZONE on Pokémon Soul Silver. Lucky it didn't flee and I caught it. Worst place to find a shiny.
