Just a hypothetical /vp/. If you were sitting on information that would end the newtype debate once and for all, would you share it?
Your all missing another important detail in these shitfests, what if there were 2 newtypes?

I think if I owned a pretty popular news site (like Serebii, Pokebeach, etc), i'd be very careful for what I leak especially after all that cease and desist stuff.

If I was just an average person, I'd probably reveal all that I could, but of course no one would believe you because you're not credible. Kind of a catch 22 in a way.

Especially seeing as eeveelutions usually come in twos.

Sound is still a likely contender. The sound typers have just been incredibly less vocal than the fairyfags

I'm not a huge fan of new types or anything but I did always think if they were to make a new type sound would be a good one, already pokemon, moves, and abilities built around a sound concept

Considering iconics like Jigglypuff have fallen out of relevance, there's sound based moves officially already coded in the game, most of which are normal type, and even an ability for it, it would take like two seconds to add a super effective/NVE handler (there's already immunity checks) on a sound based move. From there just give it an icon and you've just created an entire type with like 10 pre-established Pokemon and 20 or so moves.
