How good is fighting/dark type, competitively speaking?

We already have Scafty, which is a rather defensive Pokémon actually, and the new panda looks like it'll end up being fighting/dark too.

Scrafty is a fucking beast if you build him defensive and stick a big root on him. Bulk Up, drain punch, rest, and crunch. Make sure you stick shed skin on him too, just in case you get burned. Just watch out for fighting types and you could sweep entire teams.

He's also a good Dragon Dance user, just replace Bulk Up with DD and Rest with Ice Punch and you're good to go.

Oh, I forgot to mention EV spreads. I usually run full hp and sp def, just because bulk up can take care of the rest.

And if you want to really piss off your competition, you can run a pseudo vgc set with fake out, crunch, drain punch / high jump kick, and dragon tail. Add a chople berry and watch him wreck faces.
