Original DS has seen a lot of shit since all the way back to Metroid Prime Hunters Demo. Even replaced a shit ton of inside parts, screens, & doodads from other broken ones.

I had the shitfuck "turquoise" regular 3DS for a while, traded that horseshit for this glorious piece of ass.

As for games, currently shuffling through all 1-5 gen roms as preparation for XY, also "trying" to continue Mystery Dungeon Gates and Rumble Blast

Honestly, Sapphire doesn't work properly any more. Keeps crashing. And the only ones I am playing properly right now are SS, and white 1 and 2. The others I just pick up and play when I am bored enough, and platinum I bought to learn how to chain. Haven't got around to trying yet.

You can do everything from a flahscard (even the dreamworld) except for IR things, because that's inside the cart. So no pokewalker, or, in BW2, the keys and trading in the middle of a route.

I haven't tried anything but IR functions and wireless trading. I have been able to connect the dstwo platinum with the real soul silver cart just fine. I can't do anything that involved connecting with Nintendo WiFi though.

Like the other anon said, you can do everything (trade, wifi gifts, wireless, etc) except for IR. Yes, it finds real carts through wireless, but for example the Dream Radar won't wind your rom. Also, DS carts won't find Advance flashbacks either.

No, sorry. You can get 10 Deoxys if you want, but keys = IR. Otherwise all of us wouldn't be crying about it and would be doing with ourselves. I downloaded W2 on my flashcard to link it to my real B2, no luck.

What you CAN do, since you're using a flashcard, is try to find if they finally got an AR code for the rom, so you can save it in your flashcard with the keys arleady activated.

When I first got my 3DSXL (upgraded from lite) it did look stretched out, but I got used to it after a while. Also if you hold down the select button when launching a regular DS Game, it scales it to how it would look on the smaller screens.

Well you're right on that. I must say that in the near future it will have many games (X/Y, SMTIV, AA5, new Layton, ssb and much more), but for now there aren't many games that I would buy without regretting it.

Here are my DS Phat, Ds lites, DSi, 3ds XL, and Pokemon collection. The Phat, red, and white one are broken.

-The phat one hinge broke because accidentally I dropped it once down the stairs. So much for "Nintendium".
-The white one broke when I dropped it too.
-The Red one broke by itself. One day it just wouldn't turn on. When I tried to turn it on the light just blinks once then turns off.

My blue Dsi (my 4th one) was a chirtmas gift and I got the black Ds lite because one of my parents found it somewhere and it came with a Korean copy of soul silver in it. If only it was a english copy of that game because I still don't own a copy of HG or SS This thing obviously came from a Korean kid because the DS system language was set to Korean too.

As for my Pokemon Collection, the only things not shown there are my copy of Pokemon EX DEE and Red.

Implying the same doesn't apply to 3DS owners. Now the situation is getting better, but the 3DS had something like a shitty 2011 and an even worse 2012.

Just got my purple 3DS last week. Been loving dream radar.
This is my collection of games, though I need to catch up with Ranger and the sub-series 3DS games.
Also, the championship sticker is from '09 and I lost to a girl who spammed Draco Meteor on a Garchomp and Hydro Pump on an Empoleon.

If you have the other DS Pokemon games, you can get the version mascots with DW abilities.

Watching all those systems without a case hurts me, specially the pika ones. Do yourselves a favor and get these case+card case+screen protector combo, they cost less than 7 bucks. Also, since this became a show off thread, might as well.

It's crystal armor that came out when Ocarina 3D was released - there's also a green one with Link riding Epona on it. Not sure if Gamestop still carries them, though, you might be able to find it on ebay. Makes it nice and sturdy, but it is annoying that my good headphones don't fit.
