Colloseum was shit, I replayed through it just a few months ago, and you can't catch Pokémon in the wild, I accepted that fact but the Pokémon you Snag can't earn Exp to later in the game, they won't always listen to your move input, have shit movesets. And just leveling your 2 evees to the point where they're overleveled is the only thing you can do if you're not bringing in Pokémon from 3rd gen games. Pretty sure GF wouldn't make such a shitty game, cuz it is. Meta wise. I loved the Music/Story and whatnot. But the fact that you can't really have a nice team is kinda a letdown.
tl;dr GF wouldn't make such a bad Pokémon game. Oh wait, you're right it's part GF's staff...my bad. But if you look at the games they're currently making, It went downhill pretty fast. There's a reason they aren't working at GF anymore.
