Pidgey was a pidgeon who eventually turned in to some sort of hawk.

Spearow: sparrow in to crane (fucking crane)

Taillow: swallow in to... okay, a swallow again. With hawk traits.

Starly: is a starling a bird? I want to say it is. It also turned in to a hawk.

This bird will also be a relatively common bird that most likely changes in to a bird of prey.

That happens in several other evolutionary chains. Regardless of that, it was never a pigeon becoming a pheasant, it was a Pidove becoming an Unfezant. Real world animals are not Pokemon.

I always catch a bird Pokemon at the start of each game (Pidgey, Hoothoot, Tailow, Starly and Pidove) and become the champion with them on my team, and this Robin will be no exception. Maybe this bro will beat my boss Staraptor on Diamond.
