Hey /vp/.
Do you guys tend to play a female in Pokemon games? I like to imagine myself as a vulnerable, weak and feminine girl protected by her strong Pokemon. In other games that is implemented with character customization, I always choose the male gender.

I always like the female designs a lot more. The female protagonists are all awesome, cute and adorable. The males are just... You know... Some guys with hats and stuff. Nothing special.
When I play on emulators, I pick the females because I love them. But when playing my real games, I pick the male character because I'm male and I want to have a male avatar when battling and trading.

But, besides I just LOVE Rosa, I was really happy for choosing Nate in W2, because of Yancy. I had the oportunity to interact with her because of my male gender, if I was playing as Rosa, I'd have to interact with that faggot Curtis. Yeah, I prefer being Nate to date that fabulous cute thing that is Yancy.

I play both genders pretty evenly, it all depends on what design appeals to me most. However, I don't project myself onto them. The trainers are their own characters, I am merely the guiding hand of Fate that leads them to greatness.

I'm so autistic I've imagined sequences where I somehow get to talk to them and explain to them that their complete pokédex and all their accomplishments in battle are thanks to me. They tend to go through a bit of a crisis where they question the existence of free will. And that's before I even tell them about the overwritten save files.

She's way too good for him.

In my ~*~headcanon~*~ she is a city girl from Nimbasa who encounters him, wipes the floor with him, and calls him a headcase (her pokemon also berate him for being a dumbshit). It is here where he finally realizes that some pokemon DO love fighting.
