I used Serperior and it dissapointed me. I was Lilligant and it was amazing. Gen 5 is famous for having the most lacklustre starters out of all the gens.

Serperior sucks, but is Lilligant really that great? How to make good use of it in game? Single grass types are inherently crappy in my experience, even in game.

Petal Dance+Own Tempo gives it a 120 power 100% accuracy move with very little drawback. Plus it gets access to Quiver Dance.

Quiver Dance. There's also the combination of Petal Dance and Own Tempo, but Quiver Dance alone is enough to make Lilligant do extremely well ingame. The same is true for any Pokemon with early access to a strong boosting move though.

I love the idea of a Grass/Ice Pokemon based on the Yeti, and Meganium grew on me after my Typhlosion craze. Florapod obliterated everything in any game I transferred it to.
