Does anyone know if the Pokemon in the PWT are EV trained? Do they have high IVs? Beneficial natures? Is at all just random? Hearing different things from different people.

Would a standard ordinary fair in game team do?

You gonna get raped, son. I use a team specifically for the Battle Subway and PWT and even then sometimes I get screwed over by the RNG. But it's definitely easier than the higher levels of the Battle Subway

Give your team 10 vitamins that benefits them and a good item, and you should be good, really.

All Pokemon in PWT/Subway are EV trained, have perfect IVss (except the first carts of the subway), and have smogon-tier mvoesets

Natures I dunno, I think they are all neutral

I used my in-game team in the PWT and I managed to unlock the Champion's tournament after struggling a bit. I still haven't beaten the Champion's tournament (although my in-game team has terrible synergy)

You sure about the PWT having EV trained pokes? Used my in game pokes (Darmanitan, Starmie, Haxorus), only gave them vitamins to benefit speed and their best offensive stat and smart items, and it went like a charm. Don't even think they had beneficial natures, and I didn't check IVs.

Most things that can fuck you over in PWT would fuck you over no matter the EV, IV, natures and stuff. Meaning, hax is the greatest threat.

Pick powerful in game pokes and give them good items. That will do.

I've wondered this myself. I've been doing OK without caring about those things, but that might be because I use Tyranitar, Garchomp and Excadrill. Excadrill in sandstorm makes everything else irrelevant.

IV's aren't a huge problem, if you have beneficial natures and do a little EV training you should be set. Just pick your team/moves to maximize coverage.
