I know their supposed to be golems, but every idea so far hasn't really stuck. I was thinking for the bronze age, the pokemon would be based off of the Brazen Bull, the bronze age torture device. It still sticks to its fire typing and gives a new spin on it. Not a definite design, just to show the idea

Yes it needs to be in a grid (doesn't really have to be centred, just can't overlap into another space in the grid).

Look at the large tilesets here:

There are also materials online where you can overlay a grid onto the tileset to make sure everything lines up properly. However, once you're finished, you need to make sure that anything that isn't a tile has a solid background color. That background color can then be made transparent in RMXP.

Hey, if anyone's still on, I did a Kobold sketch. Not pretty yet or anything, but let me know what you think of the concept.Go look at the full image before you read this. Seriously. Which set of eyes did you notice? I intentionally made it ambiguous as to whether the eyes were the big red "cheeks",or the little black "eyebrows". In my design idea, after evolving, Kobold Fire keeps the big red eyes, whereas Kobold Steel keeps the little black closed eyes, since it's blind.
