I don't understand why everybody is so concerned about battle length just because it's 3D now.
Is everyone so ADD that an additional 2 seconds per attack would ruin the game?

Just because it's 3D doesn't mean it's going to play like Colosseum. The hit animations are short.

I do like the animations though, and if >>12306523 is full-speed, then I'd be okay with it. A good compromise for everyone would be, instead of just toggling on/off battle animations, the ability to speed up or slow down the animations.
