Still, a (presumable) level-up move pointed out in the magazine probably carries a bit more weight than a continuity holdover from Gen 1 and EVERYONE learning Fire Blast. Flame Charge is a bit more interesting a specific from a flavor viewpoint anyway.
Although the "koma" comes from the name for the Japanese species of robin ("komadori"), someone pointed out that the "ya"s in Yayakoma could come from the Japanese word for "arrow" ("ya"). His tail kinda resembles the fletchings of an arrow and he has a white arrow-mark on his feathers. Something to think about considering his apparent ability to launch himself while ablaze and increasing his speed stat.
